Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. Who we are

InvoWay Technologies FZ-LLC ("InvoWay", "we", "us") operates the InvoWay e-invoicing middleware and PINT-AE compliance gateway and this website. For any privacy question or request, contact arif@maq-solutions.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service and respond to you:

  • Demo and consultation requests: your full name, work email, phone number, company name and user category, submitted through our website form.
  • Customer account and invoice data: business details such as company name and Tax Registration Number (TRN), and invoice data you send through our API or integrations for conversion to PINT-AE (UBL 2.1) and transmission. This data may include personal data of your own customers and staff.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs generated when you use our website or API, used for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to demo requests and arrange consultations.
  • To provide, secure and support the InvoWay service, including validating invoices and transmitting them through Accredited Service Providers (ASPs) and the Peppol network, and reporting to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) as required.
  • To prevent abuse and fraud, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
  • To communicate about the service. We do not sell personal data.

4. Our roles

For invoice data submitted by our customers, the customer is the data controller and InvoWay acts as a processor on the customer's instructions. For website enquiries and our own business contacts, InvoWay is the controller.

5. Sharing

We share data only where needed: with ASPs, the Peppol network and the FTA to deliver and report invoices; with infrastructure and email providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; and with authorities where the law requires. We do not share data for third-party advertising.

6. International transfers

Where data is processed outside the UAE, we take steps to ensure it receives protection consistent with applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

7. Retention

We keep demo-request data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and follow up. Invoice and audit records are kept for the periods required by UAE tax and commercial law and by your agreement with us, then deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational safeguards described in our Security Statement.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. Email arif@maq-solutions.com. If we process invoice data for a customer, we may direct your request to that customer.

10. Cookies

The website does not use advertising cookies. Basic technical data may be logged by our hosting infrastructure for security and performance.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
